After finishing his duties at work, Mimmo joined us in the
studio, while we were goin' on with the recordings:
Mirko at work:
While Mimmo and Matt decided what parts to redo and what is good, the
other guys were, err, quite busy taking pictures:
Rob sending real-time bulletins via myspace, adding pictures from time
to time:
Everybody loved Rob's flashy mouse:
Jonna's old boots:
Mimmo's boots, definitely in a better shape:
Only the italians can appreciate the writing "Le autoradio della Ritmo"
on the effects rack.
Jonna checking his ships on Ogame. He's more than addicted!
Ok, sometimes we had to play, too:
Quality posters (especially Fiorucci) on the wall:
Mimmo, best known as "technology enemy no.1":
And this is the video that sums up what we did during the first day.
Actually, we do everything but playing, and only the italians can
appreciate what's being said. But it's more than funny!
We left the studio with five songs recorded, confident with the quality
of the sound and the performance Matt delivered. Pre-production has been
a great idea, since it reduced discussions about arrangements to the
minimum.
Comments about recordings in Matt's own words again: "As we
start off with Piracy, it's clear that everything works great and I'm
having a lot of fun. The song that's more enteraining to play is "Jonna
Wants Two Beers", I love the 70s vibe of the verses. The only sad
things is that I break my 19' crash..."
