[12/11/2009]  Adam Bomb is back in town!

Adam Bomb's neverending tours will bring he, and his band in Rome once again. He will play at Locanda Blues on December, 8th. We were supposed to open the gig, but unfortunately we can't play, so WakeUpCall will fill the gap. Get ready for the usual dose of rock'n'roll and fireworks!

[24/10/2009]  WakeUpCall - Matt's new band

Matt has a new band, called WakeUpCall! Actually it's basically Knyght with a new name, a more modern musical approach but the same rock'n'roll attitude and the same line up. Check 'em out at  at myspace.com/wakeupcallmusic

[28/09/2009]  New gig! Supporting L.A. Guns in Rome!

You probably know that there are two version of L.A. Guns touring in the last years, one featuring Phil Lewis and Steve Riley, the other with founder guitarist Tracii Guns. Well, Tracii's band is coming in Rome for the first time, featuring Jizzy Pearl on lead vocals, and we will open the show! It will take place at Jailbreak on the 7th of October. See you there!

[06/06/2009] New review

A new review is up, by italian webmag Stereoinvaders. It's actually no surprise to see another good score (8 out of 10) but we are pleased to read that the reviewer noticed humor and irony in our music! Read the review here.

[17/05/2009] Future plans

The gig with Adam Bomb rounded up the Ridin' On The Road tour, now the band takes a break from the live shows in order to focus on songwriting: we don't have anything scheduled, we just want to write good songs and do some preproduction - we will keep you posted about it, by the way.

[06/05/2009] Back from the tour

We had a blast touring Italy this weekend! Thank you to everybody who made this possible - promoters, bands, friends and fans -, and a huge thank you, in particular, to all that stopped at our merchandise stand and bought something: we love you!

[11/04/2009] Ridin' on the road - italian tour 2009!

The 30th of April at Area 24 in Vercelli, with special guests Killin' Alice; the 1st of May at Km33, Trezzo sull'Adda (Mi) at the Slam Nite, with local heroes Sumo and Lustkillers (featuring Adam Becvare of Lords Of The New Church and Black Halos fame) and the 2nd of May at the Crc, Abano Terme (PD), with special guests The Brokendolls.

[25/03/2009] Matt endorsed!

Our friend Adam Bomb never stops touring so once again he's going to play in Rome, and once again we will open for him. This time it's on a saturday (the 16th of May), so it will be a proper festival!

[25/02/2009] Live report

We happened to find a live report of the gig at Glam Fest 2, supporting Faster Pussycat, Bang Tango and Beautiful Creatures, by the italian webzine Disintegration, read it here.

[15/02/2009] Latest updates

Dued to repairs to webmaster's pc, we couldn't update you regarding the latest news. As you may have read on Myspace, the popular club Traffic has been forced to shut the doors, so the gig with Cherry Lips has been cancelled.

Merchandise update: most of the standard t-shirts for men are out of stock (only S reamining), while we still have plenty of shirts and tank tops for girls. A restocking of standard tee's, including size XL is in the making.

Merchandise update n.2: lighters are finally in stock! Two kind of lighters available: the red ones, featuring a bottle opener (the ultimate party tool!), and the blue ones, featuring a small light. Available at gigs only, for now.

[17/01/2009] New gigs and other things

Two new live appearances! Two days before the gig at Walla Walla Live, we will be part of the winter edition of Jonna's Jam Session: same features of the summer edition (various musicians playing popular rock/metal songs), different location: Stazione Birra. Two days after the gig at Walla Walla, instead, we got booked to open the gig of Faster Pussycat, Bang Tango and Beautiful Creatures at Jailbreak. It will definitely be a blast! Read the complete list of upcoming gigs here.

A new song, temptatively entitled "Same Old City" is being worked in these days and we hope to finish it in time for the above mentioned gigs - probably at Walla Walla only, since we have a full 90 minutes set.

Our drummer Matt Svarione will be on tour in Europe with Knyght, supporting Faster Pussycat, Bang Tango and Beautiful Creatures; three dates scheduled in Switzerland and Spain. Matt already recorded drums with Knyght on their 2009 release "Bet Everything".

[27/11/2008] Back from the tour + new interview

Yes, we're back! The two gigs outside Rome went very well: we made new friends, sold lots of merchandise, had a lot of fun and - above all - introduced a new song called Acid Easy, which is of course a sort of tribute to Jonna's favourite band! A tour report, photos and videos will be online soon.

An interesting excerpt from the Hollywood Teasze tour diary: "On arrival in Rome we were amazed by the venue. The stazione birra was an awesome venue. Huge stage - massive club. We were to be joined by the GuestZ as openers. After eating some lovely pizza and sampling the home-made beer it was time to roll. The GuestZ are an amazing band, with a huge sound. All very talented musicians. Great songs too. All very cool guys and we thank you for this opportunity to visit Rome [...]".
Thank you guys, the feeling is mutual! You can read the complete diary here.

[15/09/2008] Live report with the Quireboys + more gigs!

Yesterday's gig with Quireboys has definitely been memorable, surely one of our best gigs ever!! It's been a honour for us to share the stage with six true gentlemen (plus the absolutely nice tour manager!), they are an impressive live band and a lovely bunch of guys; we've been overwhelmed by sincere compliments by the whole band - guitarist Paul Guerin told us we made him feel "like 20 years ago" - and gained some new fans!
You can watch some picture of both bands on Stazione Birra's website, check 'em out here. We also found out about an interesting ad of the show on a local mag which describes us as Myspace's new sensation! The as is here.

But there's no rest for the pirates, we nearly had no time to even have a look at yesterday's pictures because we imediately started working to promote the latest show confirmed: we are absolutely proud to bring you Germany's one and only glamour punks: Hollywood Teasze! We want to make everything on our own, or in partnership with trusted agencies - a brand new way to do things, so to avoid false promises by intermediaries. A proper Brand New Mafia!

Well, we'd like to say a huge thank you to popular UK web mag Glitzine for an astonishing review, we are absolutely speechless! It's quite flattering to read things like: "this release is certainly strong enough to propel them forward and gain them a lot of new fans all over Europe and into the US. Hopefully they'll soon get the opportunity to play more shows further across Europe and if they ever make it over to the UK you can count on me being down the front row". Read the complete review here.

From The Guestz's Myspace blog:

This post is intended as a huge thank you to all the people that made the last 3 months absolutely unforgettable to us!

Since the release of the cd, we have played the best performed and most successful gigs so far, together with excellent bands, got a bunch of great reviews, met some fantastic people, sold a shitload of t-shirts and cds, gave a lot of stickers and guitar picks away and, above all, had the privilege to see you sing our songs: this is absolutely priceless!

We are on holydays now, and we will be back to the rock'n'roll business in late august, writing new songs, booking new gigs (hopefully opening for swedish bands!) and trying new, unexpected ways to spread our piracy!

Thank you once again for making all this possible,

//Mimmo, Jonna, Rob and Matt
